She's a little adult now. We have conversations. I find myself talking to her in sentences more complicated than I would have believed.

Dielle's kitchen set

This is Dielle's third Christmas.
She was numb in Santa's lap for her first one; knowing how she would react, we didn't even bother reintroducing them on her second.
This is her first real conscious Christmas. She enjoyed the lights, she had fun singing carols and she enjoyed our church events.
However, she has not yet really grasped the Santa-coming-to-our-house concept. For that reason, she was surprised to find a tent and a kitchen set in the middle of her living room floor Christmas morning.
